THE Put are more than halfway through spring training and there are certainly a lot to talk with this team.

Whether it is the addition of Juan Soto And how he integrates his new teammates who will list the opening day, manager Carlos Mendoza observe and understand everything.

Before the spring training match on Saturday evening against the Marlins, the Skipper of the Mets spoke to the media on a certain number of subjects …

Next step for Kodai Senga

The ACE Mets only made one departure this spring, but it seems that it will be a little longer before seeing Senga on the mound for a real game.

Mendoza confirmed that Clay Holmes Will will launch in Sunday’s match, but Senga will embark on the back field. The two launchers are on the same calendar, and when Senga made its only spring start (March 3), Holmes tank in the rear field. In this way, the two Hurlers can enter their representatives.

In this aforementioned early beginning of spring, Senga launched two goalless heats, only granting two strokes while removing two strikers. He launched 31 throws, 20 for strikes.

Max Kranick Have a good impression in the camp

The dishes have had many launchers who turn heads in the camp, but there seems to be one in particular that makes a lasting impression that could see them make the list of the opening day.

Kranick dominated this spring, allowing no race in seven rounds launched on four games. He also withdrew eight strikers and did not give up a walk.

“He was pretty good. Again, yesterday, coming in the middle of the round, he continues to attack the Treatzone,” said Mendoza about Kranick. “Velo continues to remain consistent – the cursor and he is on the attack. He puts himself in a very good position here, and it is an arm which can give you several sleeves of the enclosure of the lifts.”

While Mendoza has not revealed his cards too much, Kranick, 27, launched himself to be in the running for a place of enclosure on the list of 26 men.

Juan Soto sets up with food

Soto is the big addition to the disorders, but after stays with the Nationals, the Padres and his only season with the Yankees, Mendoza was surprised by speed

“I didn’t think it was going to be so fast. It fits perfectly,” said Mendoza. “When the positions reported the players, in a few days, you can see him laugh, make jokes. It was really good to see.

“You look at him in the cages and the guys ask him, questioning and how much he is open to share his knowledge … Looking at him, he is very humble, very open and he is ready to share everything he has. It was quite impressive.”

Mendoza added that, despite the spotlights that Soto had on him this offseason and the size of a star, he continues to be impressed by the humility of the outfit.

“A great personality. Very humble. Take care of people and you have to give credit to the guys from this locker room to make him feel this way. He makes a big transition. And to see him be the same guys and be relaxed. It seems that he is a little here and he was only here three weeks. It says a lot about the person and the quality of the man.”
