Christopher Bell becomes the first driver since 2018 to win two of the first three races of the Cup season.

Here is what the cutting drivers were talking about the race for the Sunday Cup.

Kyle Busch – While his sequence without a victory extends to 60 races, he led a summit of 42 laps and finished fifth. This gives him a top 10 back to back for the first time since last September. He also scored a summit of 46 points.

Noah Gragson – His eighth place broke a sequence of 16 consecutive races without a Top 10. It was also his first top 10 in a road course race.

Losers

Ty Gibbs – He was running in the top 15 when he was struck by his teammate Chase Briscoe and turned, losing his entire track position. Gibbs finished 34th. He finished 30th or worse in two of the three races this year and in seven of his last eight departures, going back to last year. Gibbs is 35th in points after three races.

Daniel Suarez – He turned by himself and his teammate Connor Zilisch, making his cup debut, slammed him, putting an end to the race for both. Suarez finished 36th. He finished 33rd in Atlanta the previous race.

Austin Dillon – It was turned by Denny Hamlin when Hamlin locked his brakes. Dillon presented himself in the Top 20 at the time, but was eliminated by the accident, finishing a 35th 35th of the season.
