Singapore (AP) – The Olympic gold medalist and the LPGA renown temple, Lydia Ko, moved to a head shot with a 5 -mine of 67 Friday after two towers of the HSBC women’s world championship.

The New Zealand of South Korean origin had a total of two rounds of 6-mine of 138 on the Tanjong course at the Sentosa Golf Club. The head of the first round, in Lim Kim, kept his head after 36 holes with a 69 Friday.

The regular KO struck 11 of the 14 Fairways and 16 of the 17 Greens in regulation in its Tour without Bogey. When she won the gold medal in Paris last year, Ko, 27, became the youngest player to enter the LPGA renown temple.

“I do not think that I generally play very well on this golf course and I thought that this year would be a happy new year to make it,” said KO. “The scores have not really been so low in recent days. I’m just trying to focus on me and I hope I continue to climb in the ranking.”

Ko said the Olympic entrance to the gold and the fame of fame had changed his state of mind.

“I am definitely having fun, and in a way, I have the impression of being in a position where I can go for things and try new things and obviously, I do not fire what was good last year,” said Ko.

“But I think it’s a bit of a different state of mind. I always have goals, and even if I still play, I want to play the best golf I can and face as much as possible. There is no better feeling than being the person who hoisted the trophy at the end of Sunday. »»

Charley Hull from England (70) was tied third with Hyoo Joo Kim (66), two head shots.

Hannah Green title champion had a 69 on Friday and was with regard to the 144 file, at the level Yin Angelwhich won the LPGA Thailand event last week and fired 68.

The Singapore field includes nine of the 10 best players in the world ranking – and 13 of the first 15 – less Nelly Korda and Rose Zhang, of first row.

The latest LPGA Asian Swing Asian Swing Asian event will be played next week in Hainan Island, China.
