February 27 – Another change arrives at this year’s junior invitation to Sage Valley.
The best junior golfers in the world return to the Sage Valley Golf Club in three weeks, and this year, a ticket will be necessary to see the action.
A tournament spokesman confirmed this week that a limited number of tickets will be available for this year Junior Invitational, the 14th year of the boys and fourth championship for girls.
Tickets can be purchased at https://tinyurl.com/mudfduv9 And are available for $ 25 per day, or for $ 90 for a full pass which includes the four days of competition. Outstanding parking will be free, as is the shuttle service from there during the course.
This is the other big change to this year Invitational Junior, which goes from a three -day and 54 -hole event to a four -day and 72 -hole championship.
The complete field of 36 boys and 24 girls representing 21 countries will be published soon, but some players have been confirmed in the field. This includes the defending champions Giovani Binaghi, the classified player of the 12th in the classification of boys of the American Junior Golf Association, and Asterisk Talley, who is at the top of the ranking of the AJGA girls and won three prestigious consecutive events on this circuit.
He also includes Charlie Woods, son of 15 times major champion and five-time champion of Tiger Woods masters, and Kai Trump, granddaughter of President Donald Trump.
The two champions won record fashion last year. Binaghi pulled an 8-sous 64 without Bogey, the lower final round by a possible champion in the history of the tournament, to win the title of the boys by two. Talley, who was 15 years earlier, established a new 54 -hole female tournament score finishing 9 under 207 on the way to a six -stroke victory.
