Scottsdale, Arizona – right -handed emergency launcher Kendall Graveman finalized an agreement of $ 1.35 million, one year with Arizona Diamondbacks, the team announced on Monday.
Graveman, 34 years old, is to add depth to the enclosure of the D-Backs surveys and could compete for the role of the closest. He missed last season after surgery in January 2024 to repair the Labrum on the right shoulder.
Since he went to a full -time rescue role in 2021, he had a 2.74 and 193 MPM in the stick in 187 1/3 sleeves.
Graveman launched for the first time in the big leagues with the Blue Jays in Toronto in 2014 and went to the Oakland Athletics, at Chicago White Sox, in Seattle Mariners and Houston Astros.
He launched for the White Sox and Astros for the last time in 2023, ending the season with an MPM of 3.12 out of 68 appearances. He has a record of 37-43 on nine MLB seasons with an MPM of 3.95 and 24 stops.
