Genesis Invitational Final Round Leadboard

-12 L Aberg (SWE); -11 McNealy (United States); -9 P Rodgers (United States), S Scheffler (United States); -8 T Finau (US), D McCarthy (US), T Fleetwood (Eng), P Cantlay (US)

Others: -3 R McILroy (Ni); +2 S Lowry (ire); +5 M Fitzpatrick

Ludvig Aberg in Sweden made a feel of four birdies in his last six holes to win his second title of PGA Tour with Victory at Genesis Invitational.

The 25 -year -old finished a blow from Maverick McNealy after a tight battle in Torrey Pines in San Diego.

Aberg, who goes into fourth row in the world with this victory, started the third round behind the night leaders, while McNealy was five years old.

The American McNealy put on a 38 -foot putt on the first and then had nine birdies in his next 12 holes while he ran three away from the field.

However, a bogey on the 14th gave Aberg an opportunity window and after getting up and descending from a bunker to save 12, he made a series of three successive birdies and followed two pars with a Birdie Putt seven winning feet on the last.

“It was great, it was a big fight,” said Aberg, who closed with a 66 of less than six to win 12 sous.

“I felt like I was controlling the ball the way all day and really proud of the way I finished, it was really cool.

“The (peer) putt out of 12 was big because I think that at that time, the advance was 12 (sous) and it was a putt to stay eight.

“It was so fun to get off the last holes trying to win a tournament, it’s a really special feeling.”

The 64 of McNealy saw him finished second on 11 sous, two shots away from the spouse’s night chief Patrick Rodgers, who failed to close a first victory of PGA Tour in 286 attempts.

The successive bogeys in the 11th and 12th holes derailed his challenge while he finished with a 71 to finish the third spouse alongside the world number one Scottie Scheffler, who signed for a 66.

Scheffler briefly held a share of the advance in the nine rear, but he will be left to the height of his 76 in the third round.

England Tommy Fleetwood posted a 68 to finish the fifth spouse out of eight sous.

Rory McILroy of Northern Ireland, who played with Scheffler during the final round, had a level 72 level because he remained three sous.
