The saints hire Brendan Nugent as an offensive line coach, Neworleans.Football reports.
Nugent returns to the saints after working in New Orleans as a 2015-21 offensive line coach.
He replaces John Benton, who was hired today as coach of the Seahawks offensive line.
He was recently the assistant coach of the Seahawks offensive line in 2024. Nugent led to the Offensive Landlines of Loads in 2022 and 2023.
Before arriving at New Orleans in 2015, Nugent was offensive quality control coach with the 2013-2014 Bears. He was with Marc Trestman in the LCF in 2012, as a special assistant of teams and trainer for the offensive quality of the larks.
The saints underwent several injuries on their offensive line last season, with nine different lines. Alvin Kamara has always rushed to 950 yarking yards in 228 races.
