The special events begin with the season opener on Nov. 6, when UofL will honor the life of legendary head coach Denny Crum, who died in May.
Other promotions are also planned to celebrate faculty and staff, students, season ticket members, cancer survivors, mental health awareness, Black History Month and more. other impactful groups and initiatives. There are also several opportunities to help those in need, especially as the holiday season approaches.

Salute to Service Military Appreciation

Annual teddy bear launch
This is the third annual halftime event in which fans are encouraged to bring teddy bears to throw on the field at halftime, with all items collected going to local children in need.
Saturday January 27 against Virginia
Coaches against cancer
The Cardinals will honor cancer survivors while raising awareness for the cause through Coaches vs. Cancer. The halftime show will include a survivors’ march honoring those who fight. Click on HERE participate.
