THE Minnesota Wild assigned the front Liam Ohgren to Iowa WildIt was reported on Sunday.
Written by nature in the first round of the NHL 2022 draft, Ohgren spent time with Minnesota and Iowa this season. In 19 NHL games, Ohgren collected a goal and four points while showing 12 goals and 23 points in 25 AHL games.
Since he came to North America to the end of last season, Ohgren has appeared in 23 NHL games for the Wild, scoring two goals and adding four assists.
Ohgren being assigned to Iowa, he is probably just to get playing time while Minnesota is on a break. Ohgren has continued to settle as an important option with his game this season and will only continue to see an increased workload in the future.
