San Diego – Connor Joe returns home, signing a one -year contract with the Padres of San Diego.
Joe struck .228 with nine circuits and 36 points produced in 123 games for Pittsburgh last year. The native of San Diego played his college ball for the University of San Diego.
Joe, 32, made big league departures to the first goal, to the right and left field.
The Padres announced the agreement on Saturday.
Joe is a .242 striker with 35 circuits and 141 products produced in 438 career games, also playing for San Francisco and Colorado. He made his debut in the major league with the Giants in 2019.
