Fulton – A Golf Clothing Company based in Fulton is established as an essential brand for elegant and affordable fashion on and off the golf course.
The previous horsemen, founded in 2021 by the northeast of the natives of the Mississippi Bubba Mendoza, Braxton West and Will Faulkner, offers a range of polo shirts, sweaters and hats in zip quarters.
The origins of the company can be awarded to the Fulton Country Club, said Mendoza, from Fulton 32 years old. It was during a four -men golf tournament in 2019, an event in which the teams tend to wear matching outfits, that Mendoza and West’s Team of Four made and wore shirts featuring the silhouettes of four golfers On the back – three Swing clubs and a drinking a beer.
The other golfers found the hilarious shirts. They were a success.
The reception of the shirts inspired Mendoza and West to start a business, but they put the idea by founding families. In 2021, they resumed it and designed shirts and hats but lacked the funds to produce them. Mendoza called a friend, Faulkner, to see if he would be interested in joining himself as the third founding partner, and the previous riders made his debut.
Bringing the motto, “everything worth it to be bored to be done well”, they sampered tissues for months to make sure they had the right material and the shirts would suit a range of body types.
Among the shirts and quarters of zips offered, some are simple with solid colors and only the logo of previous horsemen while others have noisy and flashy patterns like flower flowers or decorative skulls.
Mendoza said the company planned to develop to provide brand golf accessories from previous horsemen such as T-shirts, towels and ball markers in 2025.
Cultivate the brand
Last year was the second full year of Hallsemen’s operation, and they have already reached more than $ 100,000 in sales, an important step that they initially thought of taking five years.
“When we started, I sold these hats that we have out of the trunk of my car,” said Mendoza. “We did not have a website. We had done everything legally but we did not have anywhere to sell it.”
They participated in local tournaments across the northeast of Mississippi throughout 2024 and sold products to golfers.
In addition to the sale to tournaments, the clothes of previous riders are available online at www.officialforehorsemen.com And in retail places, notably Gaithr Mercantile and the Itawamba Community College bookstore in Fulton, Willow in Merle Norman and the River Birch Golf Club in Amory, Happy Hollow Outdoors in Red Bay, Alabama and a few stores in the region of Jackson. They hope to associate with a Tupelo retailer in the near future.
Running Fore Horsemen is always a part -time concert for Mendoza, West and Faulkner, but they hope to make it a full -time career in the future, bringing others on board over time. They plan to hire a videographer and a few models this year to present equipment from previous horsemen when they continue to extend to other Mississippi and South retailers.
Although previous riders are a golf brand, clothes are also perfect for everyday clothes.
“This is something you can wear in the office, something you can wear in church, something you can wear in a wedding shower, but also something that looks really elegant and cool on The golf course, “said Mendoza.
“More rewarding than money”
Hearing positive comments and seeing people put on public horsemen equipment is a constant reminder of the reason why the company has started.
“It is difficult to find the time to do something that is not enriching money, but it is easy to find the time to do something more enriching than money,” said Mendoza. “And it’s seeing people wear your things.”
“We designed something they liked enough to wear out in public,” he added.
Mendoza said people who do not understand the fashion element on the route during tournaments.
“When I’m going to play in a golf tournament, I put my things the day before as if it were the first day of school,” said Mendoza. “And I talked to people who do this again. I am 32 years old, and when I prepare to go and play in these high dollar golf tournaments, I throw my things and I visualize what I am look like, what I’m going to play. “

Mendoza is very proud to help other people appear well.
“This is one of the things that I like most about it,” said Mendoza. “People wear our things to watch and feel better.”
