Friday, Tiger Woods is committed to playing in Genesis Invitational next weekAn event organized by its TGR Foundation. Genesis takes place every year at the Riviera Country Club but has been transferred to the southern Torrey Pines this season due to the Forest fires that have devastated the Los Angeles region.
Woods, who has not started PGA Tour since the British Open in July in Royal Troon, dominated in Torrey Pines throughout his career. In all, he won eight victories, including the legendary US Open 2008 where he defeated Rocco Mediaté in an 18 -hole qualifying series.
Since he suffered another back operation in September, Woods has played in the PNC championship with his son, Charlie, where they lost in the playoffs against Team Langer, and two TGL games in January. To his Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas, Woods said he was not ready for the Tour.
Well, it looks like it is now.
It is difficult to have expectations for the Torrey goat, but its course story about the historic place speaks of itself.
