JT Miller trade rumors continue to gain momentum and the New York Rangers are now heavily involved.
According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, the Vancouver Canucks were close to trading Miller to the Rangers.
“I hope JT Miller plays tonight, unless something changes at the last minute,” Friedman reported. “But there was a point in the last 24 hours where JT Miller wasn’t going to play. He was going to be out of the lineup because talks were progressing on a trade, I believe that team would be the New York Rangers York.
While the Rangers and Canucks have reportedly almost reached a deal, for whatever reason, talks have stalled.
“Now, I don’t know exactly what happened, but this exchange is off for now. … Things had gotten to a certain point where he definitely wasn’t going to play anymore.” » said Friedman.
The Rangers have been linked to Miller for weeks, but this is the first time we’ve heard that serious discussions took place and a trade was close to being finalized.
It is unclear if the Rangers and Canucks have resumed conversations and if a possible trade is still on the table.
