It is also included in Fabrizio Romano’s report that Manchester City want Vitor Reis to join Pep Guardiola’s team immediately. Given the injuries that have plagued City’s defense, it’s an understandable decision. Manuel Akanji, John Stones, Nathan Ake and Ruben Dias have all suffered injuries this season. This has crippled City’s defense at times this season. Although Vitor Reis is only 18 years old, based on his performances with Palmeiras, he could step in and play a role for Manchester City. His talent is evident and Reis seems to have a maturity beyond his years. These skills could see him become a contributor for the second half of the season for Pep Guardiola’s side. That of course depends on his arrival at the Etihad this month.
According to the new report from Fabrizio Romano, it seems that City have dealt another blow in the transfer market. Vitor Reis looks set to sign for Manchester City and that’s good news. City’s rebuild has started and another quality young player looks set to arrive at the Etihad. The hope is that Vitor Reis can become a pillar of City’s defense for years to come.
