Texas (11-4, 0-2 SEC) will host Tennessee at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Tipoff between the Longhorns and Vols is scheduled for 6 p.m. EST.
ESPN will broadcast the SEC game. Tom Hart (play-by-play) and Dane Bradshaw (analyst) will be on the call.
Tennessee leads the all-time basketball series against the Longhorns, 5-4, since 1952. Tennessee head coach Rick Barnes is 2-1 against Texas. The Vols have a two-game winning streak in the series.
Beginning with the 2024-25 athletics schedule, Southeastern Conference schools will provide public reports on the availability of student-athletes to participate in each conference game in football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball and baseball.
Second-year forward from Tennessee JP Estrella is listed as out against Texas. Estrella will miss the rest of the season because of a foot injury.
Junior guard Chendall Weaver is also listed as out for Texas against Tennessee.
