Erling Haaland has expressed his delight at the news of Pep Guardiola’s contract extension, calling the Manchester City manager “the best manager of all time… the best manager on planet Earth”.
Speaking to Sky Sports ahead of his side’s clash with Tottenham on Saturday night, the Norwegian striker said what every City fan has probably been thinking in recent days.
Haaland linked up with Guardiola in 2022 and has since taken his game to new heights under the legendary manager, scoring 105 goals in just 114 appearances for City and winning several team and individual honors.

Haaland and Guardiola hope the good news will inspire a turnaround in City’s fortunes, with the Premier League champions looking to end an unprecedented four-game losing run when they take on Ange Postecoglou’s side at the Etihad Stadium.
