Michigan State football set to host Miami (OH) commit Cairo Skanes on official visit this weekend, and now the Spartans will add another MAC commitment to the visiting roster.
The essentials of Ziona running back committed to Western Michigan will also take an official visit to the state of Michigan. Gist has been with the Broncos since June 1.
Gist is a 6-foot, 200-pound running back who is a 3-star prospect with offers from Kent State, Marshall and WMU.
The Spartans have yet to officially tender this prospect, but it could be on the way when he arrives in East Lansing.
