ATHENS, Ga. — Gabriella Albert and Hailey Han have signed to play collegiate golf with the Georgia Bulldogs, head coach Erika Brennan announced Wednesday.
Albert, a native of Delray Beach, Fla., is ranked as the No. 37 recruit in the Class of 2025 and has recorded 16 top-10 finishes in 34 WAGR events between 2021 and 2024. She qualified for the U.S. Women’s Junior Championship 2024 and won the 2022 Florida State Golf Association (FSGA) Four-Ball Championship. Albert finished second and third at the 2023 and 2024 Florida Women’s Championships, respectively, and also notched victories on the Florida Junior Tour (FJT ) at the 2024 Stoneybrook West Open, the 2023 Pam McCloskey-Brosnihan Open, the 2023 Vineyards Open and the 2020 Sandridge. Han, a native of Duluth, Georgia, is Georgia’s second-highest recruit in the class of 2025 and sports 19 top-10 efforts in 41 WAGR tournaments from 2021 to 2024. She won the Georgia State Golf Junior Championship Association (GSGA) in 2021 and 2024 and also qualified for the USA Women’s Junior in both of those years. Han also earned medalist honors at the 2022 AJGA Greenwood Junior Championship and won 10 additional individual titles in 14 tournaments played on the GSGA Junior Tour and Southeastern Junior Golf Tour between 2019 and 2022.

Georgia has a rich history in women’s golf, with four national championships (one team and three individual) and a league-leading 19 SEC championships (11 teams and eight individual). The Bulldogs won the 2001 NCAA championship, one of 21 top-10 and 29 top-20 national championship finishes in the last 46 years. In addition to national champion medalists Terri Moody (1981), Cindy Schreyer (1984) and Vicki Goetze (1992), 35 Georgia golfers have combined to earn 64 All-America certificates.
