Dishes perspective Jett Williams was in action Saturday night during the Arizona Fall League Fall Stars game.
Playing as a shortstop and leadoff strikeout, the 21-year-old finished 0-for-2 with a walk and a run scored while playing for the NL Fall Stars. He also added a nice catch up the middle to end the top of the third inning.

Williams was pulled after five innings, but he led off the bottom of the first with a walk and scored the first run of the game to give the NL Fall Stars a 1-0 lead. The NL Fall Stars ended up losing 6-5.
In 19 games in the AFL, Williams – New York’s only All-Star – had two home runs, three doubles, two triples and seven RBIs while hitting .222 (16 for 72) to go along with 12 runs scored, 15 walks on walks and seven stolen bases for one caught stealing.
