THE Ohio State Buckeyes are one of the best teams in the country, but they always look and deliver at a high standard, making sure they don’t miss out on any potential prospects.
One of the newest recruits they are targeting is defensive back Jordyn Woods.
Woods committed to Cincinnati on June 25, 2024, but the Buckeyes clearly believe they have a chance to turn things around and/or want to plan for the future with the transfer portal dominating.
Woods ranks as a three-star recruit in the class of 2025 and is the 95th cornerback and 117th player in the state of Georgia. He received offers from Virginia, Boston College and Michigan State.
“I had a feeling they were going to offer, but I wasn’t sure. It was exciting when they did, committing to Cincinnati and then getting an offer from Ohio State and the Big Ten,” Woods said via 247Sports Bill Kurelic.
Ohio State offered 2025 DB Jordyn Woods tonight, a player they had looked at closely over the past couple of months.

Woods currently plays at Cartersville. He now has an official visit scheduled to take a trip to Columbus by Kurelic.
The Buckeyes have a plethora of talented cornerbacks already committed to the class with Devin Sanchez’s No. 1 overall corner and Na’eem Offord’s No. 2 corner.
