BLOOMINGTON-The Indiana football team sold out of the limited tickets it had for the games against Washington on Saturday and against Michigan on November 9.

This follows No. 13 Hoosiers (7-0; 4-0) sold out Memorial Stadium for their 56-7 win over Nebraska – the program’s first sellout since 2021 – and their season finale against Purdue. The announced crowd of 53,082 supporters against the Corn hullers was the fourth highest attendance game in program history.

“I noticed them,” Indiana coach Curt Cignetti said after the game. “…There’s a lot of excitement in a lot of places, which is great. I could tell they were really loud”

The four sellouts in a single season are a program record and match the combined sellout total from 2016-2023.

Indiana will also hosts ESPN’s College GameDay this weekend. While the show visited IU’s campus before the 2017 season opener against Ohio State, that game took place on a Thursday and did not feature their popular recurring picks segment.

Popular GameDay co-host Pat McAfee told Cignetti he was rooting for Indiana to win against Nebraska since it would help him convince the show’s producers to bring the show to Bloomington.

The Hoosiers hosted FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff Saturday before the Nebraska game.
