After the Indiana Fever lost in the WNBA playoffs, star guard Caitlin Clark wasted no time telling the world what she was going to do in the offseason. “I’m going to become a professional golfer,” she says said.
However, despite a few appearances at pro-am events over the years, she had not had a great shot that would have allowed her to truly establish herself as a potential professional on the links.
Golf is notoriously one of the most unforgiving sports in the world, so it will surely be a while before Clark wows fans with his shot. Well, in typical Caitlin Clark fashion, she already did.
Clark posts near hole-in-one message on TikTok page
Clark posted the video above on his TikTok page. She and her golf partners filmed this hole specifically, probably because it is a short par 3. The ace potential on such holes is still astronomically low, but much higher than on more difficult.
Of course, the tee shot doesn’t matter if you can’t sink your putt. Clark, immune to the pressure, made her birdie putt with ease, letting out a “YES!” » following the shooting.
When will Clark play in a golf tournament?
Clark recently announced that she will participate in the LPGA’s upcoming pro-am event, “The Annika,” scheduled for November 13. Clark has already impressed fans with her golf game, but this might have been the greatest shot she’s ever made.
