Notre Dame Fighting Irish men’s golf team takes first place in key tournament this weekwinning the Fighting Irish Classic at Warren Golf Course. Notre Dame was able to achieve victory on its home course.
Notre Dame was led by Nate Stevens and Rocco Salvitti, who each made four birdies in the first five holes. Salvitti finished at 3 under par and in third place, while Stevens came in fifth at 2 under par.
The Irish faced top 25 teams from Tennessee and Duke in the 15-team, 54-hole tournament.
This is the second tournament victory in three weeks for Notre Dame men’s golf.
