Ohio State football has consistently developed some of the best offensive linemen in the country. From Paris Johnson Jr. to Billy Price from years ago, the Buckeyes have had some of the best talent in the trenches.
It’s no different this year as center Seth McLaughlin continues to shine as one of the best in the country.
Pro Football Focus looked at last week’s top centers in college football, and McLaughlin ranked No. 1 with a 78.6 grade.
THE The 6-foot-4 center is a transfer and came from Alabama.
McLaughlin, who has a master’s degree and was Summa Cum Laude during his undergraduate studies at Alabama, is in his first season with the Buckeyes, entering the portal after the 2023 season.
He spent many seasons with the Crimson Tide and played 35 games for Alabama. Now, McLaughlin is poised to hopefully be a part of another team vying for a College Football Playoff national championship in January.
With Oregon on deck, the Buckeyes will need another big performance from center on Saturday.
