The American League Wild Card Series ended yesterday with the Kansas City Royals and Detroit Tigers both winning their best-of-three series against the Baltimore Orioles and Houston Astros, respectively, to advance to the American League Division Series . The San Diego Padres also defeated the Atlanta Braves in two games in the National League Wild Card Series. The New York Mets, who have played eight games in the last seven days, will not have a rest today; they will face the Milwaukee Brewers in game 3 of their series today. The winner of today’s game will go to the SNDL which begins on October 5. Today’s MLB Wild Card Series game airs on ESPN; here’s a look at how to watch today’s Milwaukee vs. New York games.

Who is in the MLB Wild Card Series?

Three American League and three National League teams won Wild Card spots in the MLB Wild Card Series, along with their league’s lowest-ranked division winner. The Kansas City Royals, Houston Astros and Baltimore Orioles (AL) as well as the New York Mets, Atlanta Braves and San Diego Padres (NL) have clinched spots in the Wild Card Series.
