How Peoria-area golfers finished at the 2024 IESA State Finals

The Pekin Broadmoor boys golf team finished second Friday at the Illinois Elementary School Association boys state finals, the program’s second consecutive state trophy for elementary schools.

Two boys golfers from the Peoria area also finished in the top 10 in the one-tour event held at Metamora Fields Golf Course. Lee Bolliger of Morton Junior High School tied for fourth with a 71, while Shane Cunningham of Peoria Reservoir shot a 74 for 10th. No area players finished in the top 10 in the girls final.
