He had to be substituted after being treated by his team’s medical staff on the pitch. He had to limp off the pitch and was also seen limping as he left the locker room after the match. Ice was also applied to his calf, but the issue does not appear to be a serious problem for the Turk.
Guler started the game for Turkey which ended in a 0-0 draw. Overall, it was a tough game for Guler and both teams. Both teams had their chances but failed to score in this UEFA Nations League opener. The Turks were visibly at a disadvantage in this game as Baris Yilmaz was sent off for two yellow cards in the 62nd minute.nd minute and they had to play with 10 men.
Hopefully this setback for Guler will not impact Real Madrid. Los Blancos are already facing an injury crisis and will be keeping their fingers crossed that they do not have any more injured players during this international break.
