With one regular season event remaining in the 2024 LIV Golf League, some players have work to do to avoid relegation.

Drop Zone players, who are ranked 49th and below in the LIV Golf Individual Rankings, will be relegated from the league and will head to the 2024 LIV Golf Promotions tournament to try to regain a roster spot.

Captains or players with a few years left on their contract are exempt from relegation. For example, Lee Westwood, one of the three Majesticks captains, and Martin Kaymer, the Cleeks captain, finished in the relegation zone last year, but due to their captaincy, they both returned in 2024. This year, Bubba Watson is in the relegation zone, but due to his captaincy, he cannot be relegated.

It is also important to note that only 12 teams will compete in the Team Championship at Maridoe in Dallas, with the 13th ranked team, currently Iron Heads GC, present but not participating.

47. Harold Varner III, 8.25

48. Pat Perez, 7.76

No. 49: Scott Vincent, 5.90

Vincent has finished in the top 25 in each of his last four starts, but he will need a big effort in Chicago to avoid relegation.

No. 50: Branden Grace, 4.42

Grace has as many top 20 (2) and top 50 (2) finishes this year.

No. 51: Laurie Canter, 4:30 p.m.

It is important to note that Canter is a reserve player and has only played in two events, the first two, this season.

No. 53: Kalle Samooja, 3.40

Samooja was one of three players to secure a spot at LIV Golf via the 2023 Promotions event. He now faces the prospect of having to earn his spot back.

No. 54: Kieran Vincent, 2.47
