Las Vegas Golden Knights captain Pierre Marc He spoke to the media again and reiterated what his approach would be for the 2024-25 season.
Stone will use the skeptics and enemies of the Golden Knights to fuel his and his team’s success. Just a few weeks ago, Stone spoke to Gary Lawless and expressed how much he believed in the organization to win another Stanley Cup, no matter what people say or think about him and the team.

“I feel like we’re continuing to build on the solid resume that we’ve had over the last few years,” Stone said. “I still feel like we’ve built a really good foundation to bring in new players. Obviously, there’s been some turnover on the roster. That’s an unfortunate part of the business. You can’t keep everybody and pay everybody. It’s tough to see friends and teammates leave. But we’re adding some hungry new players who are eager to come to Vegas and play with our team.”

Yesterday at the Golden Knights’ annual charity golf tournament, Stone took the time to speak to reporters and one of the key things he said was:
“I still like our team. Another year, another run of articles that put the Golden Knights out of contention. That should be good for us, good motivation for us.”
Stone was having one of his best statistical seasons before suffering a torn spleen that kept him out until the playoffs. Not only were people angry about the many times he got hurt and rejoined the team before the playoffs, but now he’s questioning his ability to return to that level.
The 32-year-old will be counting on the doubters to motivate him, but the Golden Knights’ success this season rests largely on Stone’s shoulders. If injuries don’t get in the way, the Golden Knights will be among the best in the league, if not, they’ll have to fight for every point they can get.
