We discuss Emma Hayes’ resume and what she’s done as a coach so far.

There was a excellent article by Sophie Lawson of ESPN which discussed Hayes’ tactics, the coach’s philosophy and his teams’ playing style. Hayes also enjoys developing young talent, and with a program in transition, she will have plenty of chances to bring in some of the younger players who could form the core of the USWNT in the future. It’s an exciting time and what appears to be a new era for the USWNT, and fans should look forward to watching her operate as she puts her stamp on the USWNT program.
