Georgia football head coach Kirby Smart shares a hilarious story at SEC Media Days about EA College Football 25.
SEC Media Days The discussion began Monday, when all of the conference’s head coaches and several players will have the opportunity to address the media this week in Dallas, Texas. On Tuesday, Georgia head football coach Kirby Smart took to the podium and discussed a variety of topics.
One of the topics he discussed was the new college football video game, and probably not in the way most people would expect from Smart. Introducing the three players he brings to media days, Carson Beck, Malaki Starks and Mykel Williams, Smart mentioned that the video game already makes him feel old.
Smart said that as he and his players were leaving the airport yesterday, his players were talking about how excited they were to play the brand new video game, which was coming out Monday. Smart, trying to stay in the conversation, joined in and asked, “How do they keep it in stores? It’s probably going to sell, so how do they keep it in stores?” Smart’s players responded by laughing hysterically and explaining that people only buy digital versions of video games now and don’t need to buy physical copies.
