Colby Jones scored a game-high 25 points on 10-of-21 shooting with six rebounds, three steals and a block in 29 minutes against the Sacramento Kings. Victory 82-70 against the Utah Jazz on Monday during the NBA’s Vegas Summer League.
THE former star player for the Xavier Musketeerswho turned 22 in May, had scored 15 points by halftime.
In the Kings’ Summer League opener last Friday, Jones failed to make a field goal in four attempts, scoring two points in 14 minutes of play against Memphis.

Jones, the 34th overall pick during the 2023 NBA draft last July, became the first player signed under the NBA’s second-round draft exception.
Jones played in 30 games last season with the NBA Kings, averaging 2.1 points and 1.3 rebounds in 6.4 minutes per game. In 13 games with the Stockton Kings of the G League, Jones averaged 19.8 points, 7.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.0 steals in 36.1 minutes per game.
He declared for the 2023 draft after playing three seasons at XU.
