Castle is out for the remainder of Summer League after suffering a sprained right wrist in a fall during Saturday’s win over Portland, the Spurs said. It’s a minor injury, but the Spurs aren’t taking any chances with the fourth overall pick.

The castle finished Friday’s match with 22 pointsfive rebounds and four assists in a matchup against former UConn teammate Donovan Clingan.
The Spurs believe it’s a minor injury, but they’re not taking any chances with the No. 4 overall pick, who will likely serve as a key player off the bench to start the 2024-25 season.
Despite only playing a handful of games in Summer League, Castle impressed from the start, scoring 12 points in his debut, followed by 18 points, six rebounds and five assists against China.
In his lone year at UConn last season, Castle averaged 11.1 points and helped the Huskies win a second straight national title. At just 19 years old, he has plenty of time to continue to develop and refine his game.
