The Oklahoma City Thunder selected Serbian Nikola Topic with the Choice #12 of the 2024 NBA draft.
The 18-year-old will likely miss all of next season as he recovers from a partially torn ACL. He offers the Thunder one of their top prospects. He is considered a top passer and has shown signs of being a shooter. He will need to develop and work on his jump shot.
If Topic reaches his ceiling, he’ll be a high-level starter who could be a solid playmaker for OKC alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams.
