Stewart-Haas Racing has been the hot spot for potential developments over the past year. Kevin Harvick and Aric Almirola have left, while Josh Berry and Noah Gragson have joined the NASCAR Cup Series organization. With the 2024 NASCAR season well underway, the lineup has a new look; however, this may not last beyond this year.
According to Adam Stern of Sports Business Journal, the possibility for Stewart-Haas Racing to sell one or more charters before the 2025 NASCAR season has been a hot topic in the garage recently. It’s unclear whether Stewart-Haas Racing has begun the process of selling any of its charters, but industry executives have called it one of the teams most likely to do so.
The report comes as Stewart-Haas Racing future with Ford remains uncertain. The latest suggests that the NASCAR organization and Ford will part ways after their contracts expire, but nothing is official. Driver lineup may have been the biggest topic of last year’s silly season, but Stewart-Haas Racing could change the Cup Series landscape before 2025.
