In March, the 28 members of the USWNT filed a gender discrimination lawsuit against the U.S. Soccer Federation because they earned less than their male counterparts. This is despite the fact that the men’s national team didn’t even qualify for the World Cup last year and the women’s games generate more revenue in the United States.
