Martha Stewart shines like a golden sun on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
The 81-year-old man is the oldest cover model strut for the magazine – and the queen of thirst traps underwent hardcore preparation to be at her best.
The lifestyle mistress revealed her cover on Monday’s show Show “Today”, revealing how she prepared for the sexy swimsuit photos.
Stewart disclosed that she was approached for filming in November 2022 and would take the photos last January.
“Doing the cover at my age was a challenge. And I think I’ve risen to the challenge,” she told hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb.
The New Jersey native chose to get back into shape by simply exercising and focusing on healthy eating.
“I didn’t starve, but I didn’t eat bread or pasta for a few months,” Stewart said.
“I went to Pilates every other day and it was great; I still go to Pilates every other day because it’s so great. And anyway, I live a clean life – good diet, good exercise, healthy skin care and all that,” Stewart explained.
She then candidly explained that her appearance at the age of 81 was “a testament to living well.”
Stewart also doesn’t care about getting older and testified that age should not define life.
“I think we should all think about living well, about a successful life and not about aging. This whole aging thing is so boring. You know what I mean?” said Martha Stewart Living CEO.
She even attributed her anti-aging beauty to her genes and her mother, Martha Ruszkowski Kostyra.
“My mother was my role model,” Stewart said. “After four children, she always wore a two-piece swimsuit. And she had two more after that and she always wore a two-piece swimsuit, so it’s pretty fabulous. My genes are good.

The TV personality continued: “Age is not the determining factor in terms of friendship or success, but what people do, how they think, how they act, that’s what’s important not your age.”
