Celtics vs. Mavericks Game 4 results according to NBA 2K24
According to our NBA 2K24 simulation, the Dallas Mavericks to beat Boston Celtics in Game 4 of NBA Finals 105-91. The Mavericks finally found a way to win a game in this series, thanks to a strong team effort in the final four minutes of regulation. The Celtics, who are just one game away from winning the Finals, ultimately struggled to stay the course.
TEAM | Quarter 1 | Quarter 2 | Quarter 3 | Quarter 4 | FINAL |
BOS | 25 | 24 | 24 | 18 | 91 |
DAL | 21 | 29 | 24 | 31 | 105 |
The game was a constant back and forth between the two teams for most of the match. With just under five minutes remaining, the Celtics were down by one point (89-90). However, the Mavericks went on a strong 15-0 run between 4:43 and 0:44 of the fourth quarter. They were somehow able to thwart the Celtics offense while increasing their lead. Their efforts paid off as they won their first match of the series.
In terms of player performance, Luka Doncic led his Mavericks team, but several players saw a lot of action throughout the game. Doncic ended up scoring 26 points while grabbing 9 rebounds and six assists throughout the game. Kyrie Irving followed, dropping 21 points while grabbing five rebounds, 3 assists and a steal. Another shout out to Daniel Gafford, whose 18 rebounds, 4 steals and 1 block gave the team more scoring opportunities.
As for the Celtics, Jayson Tatum played very well, collecting 41 points, 13 rebounds, five assists and a steal. But other than Jaylen Brown, no one else on the team managed to score more than 10 points. Perhaps the absence of Kristaps Porzingis, whose chances of playing are uncertain, affected the team both offensively and defensively. Either way, Boston was certainly hoping not to extend this series another game.

With this victory, the Dallas Mavericks finally won their first victory of the series. Although they still face an uphill battle, the goal now is to just focus on playing the game at a time. Play every game like it’s your last on earth and hope you have a chance to make a comeback. Even though it seems likely that the Celtics win, the Mavericks will hold on to what little hope they have left. We’ll see how long their miraculous run can last.
As for the Celtics, the loss here is certainly frustrating, but there is no reason to panic. On the plus side, they now have the chance to win the series at home in Game 5 in front of the fans. However, this also means they have to wait a little longer, as the pressure continues to mount. Will Boston finally win in Game 5? Or will the seemingly impossible return actually happen?
In terms of accuracy, we think the score could arrive. However, I’m not sure either team is really going to win by a big margin, considering how the last two games ended. Injury-wise, we decided to leave Kristaps Porzingis on the sidelines. Despite his willingness to play, it is evident that injuries are taking their toll on the man. If they decide to launch it, we won’t receive such an announcement until later.
