Annual Red Bandana Game scheduled for September 21.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College athletes announced their theme days for the upcoming 2024 BC football season and made single-game tickets available to the public starting Thursday. The Eagles honor 9/11 hero Welles Crowther ’99 with their annual Red Bandana Game in Week 4, Sept. 21 against Michigan State.
Season tickets and single-game tickets are now available at BCEagles.com or by calling the Boston College Athletics Ticket Office at 617-552-GoBC. Season ticket packages start at $99 for the Eagles’ seven-game home schedule.
Boston College opens Bill O’Brien on the road before hosting Duquesne in the home opener on September 7. This game will be the BC Faculty and Staff Appreciation Game. The Spartans visit two weeks later for the Red Bandanna game presented by Empower. The game marks the Eagles’ 11th red bandana game, honoring Crowther, who died saving up to 12 people in the South Tower of the World Trade Center during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The game against State of Michigan is the first Red Bandanna Game against a non-ACC opponent since the inaugural event; a victory in 2014 against USC.
Week five is Family Weekend in the Heights against Western Kentucky on September 28. The only home game for the month of October will be Friday, October 25 during Homecoming Weekend. Full events and reunion schedule will be announced at a later date.
The Eagles return home three times in November, starting with Military and Healthcare Heroes Appreciation Day against Syracuse on November 9. On November 23, Boston College then celebrates the 40th anniversary of Doug Flutie’s Hail Mary with a 1984 team reunion on Ultimate Kids Day. The Eagles will also welcome back the 1974, 1994, 2004 and 2009 teams for the game against North Carolina.
The regular season concludes with Senior Day and Youth Sports Day at Alumni Stadium against Pittsburgh on November 30.
