As LeBron James continued to rack up more and more accomplishments throughout his historic NBA career, many fans began to debate whether or not he had good reason to be the greatest player of all time on Michael Jordan. THE subject of discussion is extremely controversial among fans, and this has led to an interesting take on Dallas Mavericks the head coach Jason Kidd.
Kidd himself had a legendary NBA career, so he knows how impressive it is for James and Jordan to have put together the type of careers they had. When asked for his thoughts on the subject, Kidd said he thinks Jordan is still ahead of James at the moment, but by the time James calls it a career, he thinks LeBron will have exceeds the legend of the Chicago Bulls.
“I think LeBron will be considered the best to achieve this.”

For the most part, Jordan has remained the greatest player of all time in the eyes of many, which is why this is a pretty interesting take from Kidd. James wins over Jordan, but he may ultimately run out of time to add another ring to his legacy, which is the main argument against him in this discussion. But Jason Kidd doesn’t see it that way.
The Los Angeles Lakers almost found their way back to the NBA Finals last season, so it’s not entirely out of line to suggest they could get back there and win again. And in the eyes of some fans, James may not even need another ring to surpass Jordan. Regardless, it will be interesting to see how James concludes his already fantastic legacy, as it could have big repercussions in this GOAT debate.
