ANT-tagagonizing the Nuggets
Minnesota has a wide range of weapons in its arsenal and it showed in the first two games of this series. They have size, strength and speed, which created a big problem for the Nuggets in the first two games in Denver. Karl-Anthony Towns, Rudy Gobert and Jaden McDaniels are excellent players, but the T’Wolves will need their best player to be great every game. Antony Edwards didn’t struggle in Game 3, he just wasn’t great, scoring 19 points, grabbing six rebounds and five assists. Edwards is averaging 30.4 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5.7 assists, stats that have all increased since the regular season. This team is young and Edwards is one of the youngest on the team. It would be unreasonable to expect him to be there every day, but it would be surprising to see him have an off night two games in a row.
