AEW Collision viewership increased on April 27.
According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling observer, AEW Collision attracted 621,000 viewers on Saturday, marking its highest number since July 2023. The show had a strong lead going into the NBA playoff game between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat. THE April 20 episode of Collision attracted 461,000 viewers.
Among 18-49 year olds, Collision earned a 0.21 rating, which is also up from last week (0.13 rating). Meltzer wrote that the first ten minutes of Collision earned a 0.49 rating with the introduction of the NBA.
THE April 27 Episode of AEW Collision featured Swerve Strickland’s first promo since winning the AEW World Championship, as well as a medical update on Tony Khan. Strickland also defended the world title against Claudio Castagnoli. Additionally, AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm faced Anna Jay, and The Acclaimed took on The Grizzled Young Vets.
