AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn football and head coach Karen Hoppa announced the addition of Katie Carrino to the team’s 2021 signing class.
A goalkeeper from Benedict, Maryland, Carrino is a standout for the Calverton School and St. Mary’s Soccer Club.
She is a three-time first-team All-Conference performer and a two-time captain of the Calverton School team. Carrino helped the Cougars win the 2017 Maryland Independent School Athletic League championship.
At the club level, the goalkeeper led St. Mary’s to the 2017 Maryland State Cup championship. She did not allow a goal in the 2021 US Youth Soccer season.
Carrino brings Auburn’s 2021 signing class to eight players, joining seven players the program already signed in the fall.
