Over the years, Serena Williams has carved out her own unique style in the sports industry; It’s no surprise to anyone that she was named one of the 50 Most Stylish Sports Athletes for 2019.
Serena is on the cover of Sports Illustrated Fashionable Issue 50 and she looks absolutely stunning. She talks about her unique fashion, the harsh criticism she received on her style and about her and her upcoming fashion line S by Serena.
On fashion, Serena says “My whole career has been focused on tennis and fashion. I always try to make a statement when I go out on the field: be bold, unique and somehow transcend. I always try to send the message of just being confident and fierce.
She’s also working on her fashion line, and yes, we can expect that any time soon.
“I already tried and it didn’t work. Then I sat down and invested in myself and really tried really hard. Now I can really express myself. I see how you can wear fashion in so many different ways and how you can represent yourself. I have this big vision of what S by Serena will be. She says.
