Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced that PES 2019 is now available in the Americas, an important milestone in KONAMI’s ongoing mission to create the best and most exciting soccer video game ever.
PES 2019 has seen the highest number of additions to licensed leagues and clubs in recent history, generating enthusiasm around the world. Announcements made over the past few weeks bring the game to over 400 teams, over 10,000 players and over 40 stadiums – all brilliantly rendered in stunning 4K, delivering the crisp presentation PES is known for.
PES 2019 continues to build on the popular football simulation series with a host of new features and improvements. New features include:
- Magical moments – 11 new skill traits have been added, further enhancing player individuality and allowing precise gameplay to take center stage; discover the finishing prowess of Luis Suárez, the unique dribbling ability of Philippe Coutinho and the precise passes of the iconic legend David Beckham
- Visible fatigue – New mechanic where stamina affects both player performance and behavior during a match, creating a realistic change of pace as the game progresses
- The beautiful game – Focusing exclusively on current generation consoles only, 4KHDR can be found on all platforms and ‘Enlighten’ software for realistic visual effects and ‘Global Illumination’ for lighting and shadows that make you feel like you’re there
- New myClub – This fan-favorite mode receives its biggest overhaul yet, as the all-new player card design system brings changes to how players build their teams, and they can also expect to find players high-performance players, including Legendary Players and Players of the Week with temporarily boosted stats based on real-world performance
- Masters League – With the International Champions Cup (ICC), the world’s largest pre-season club tournament, fully licensed in PES 2019our new 3 year journey for Master League starts here with the aim of recreating real management experience in PES
- Living menus – New dynamically updated menu interface to bring the latest news about PES from within the game itself, in addition to exclusive offers and discounts
In addition, PES 2019 will receive a free content update on day one that will provide players with the most up-to-date teams and statistics based on real-world performance.
FC Barcelona star and global ambassador Philippe Coutinho will feature on this year’s cover, while a special David Beckham edition featuring a current version of one of the greatest English footballers of all time will also be available.

PES 2019 is available now in the Americas on PlayStation®4, Xbox One™ and PC via STEAM, and will be available in the rest of the world on August 30th. PES 2019 is available in two physical editions, with new global ambassador Philippe Coutinho on the cover of the standard edition and David Beckham on a special edition which gives fans the opportunity to unlock my club bonuses.
