AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn football and head coach Karen Hoppa announced the addition of goalie Maddie Lo to the program on Wednesday.
Lo comes to the Plains after spending four seasons at Northwestern. She will be eligible to join the Tigers for the 2023 fall season.
“We are really excited to add Maddie to our team,” Hoppa said. “She is a very experienced guard who is an excellent shooting guard. She will add tremendous depth at an extremely important position.
In three years at Wayzata High School, Lo posted 28 shutouts and a 0.46 goals-against average. After capping a third straight conference title streak in 2018, which included a game-winning save in the semifinal penalty shootout, Lo was voted first team all-conference.
In the summer of 2018, she also played as a guest with Tokiwagi Gakuen High School in Sendai, Japan and posted a 12-0 record during their visit to the United States.
