First, Kyle guessed: “What is pétanque?” Incorrect. Then Monya De, a health reporter from Santa Monica, California, ventured: “What is lawn bowling? Wrong again. Finally, with time running out, Khalilah Walters, an attorney from Danville, Virginia, came up with the correct answer: What is croquet?
$800: The 17th of this Scottish club’s Old Course is known as Road Hole; a lot of players were knocked down there.
In a weird twist, the last two golf questions of the episode were decidedly easier than the $600 clue. If you do not know the correct answer to this question, you I don’t read this site often enough. Kyle knew right away. After all, it is the home of golf. What is Saint Andrew?
$1,000: The “pitching” of this type of club is used for short, high shots.
The writers closed out the category with another softball. Not only that, but it looks suspiciously like a clue to an older episode of Danger! from 2011: “Sand and pitch are common varieties of these irons used to hit short shots. » Both clues require the same answer, which Kyle once again provided. What is a corner?
At the end of the round, Kyle was in the lead with $5,000, and his three correct golf answers went a long way toward getting him there. In Double jeopardy!he officially broke away from the pack, finishing with $15,400, which he failed to improve on in Final danger!but he still won the title.
