Bubba Wallace was recently asked if NASCAR drivers go to the bathroom during a race. The 23XI Racing driver did not hesitate in his response.
Bubba Wallace competed in the NASCAR Cup Series since 2017. He participated in 186 races. With this large number of events, it is reasonable to expect that he would have had to go to the bathroom at some point in the middle of a race. THE 23XI Racing Driver recently addressed the issue.
Bubba Wallace talks about peeing during a run
Bubba Wallace achieved his best fourth place of the season at Las Vegas Motor Speedway a few weeks ago. Before his solid career, he visited actor Kal Penn, guest host of The daily showduring a question-and-answer session.
Penn went where many questioners refuse to go when he asked the driver how he goes to the bathroom during a 400-mile race.
“Have you ever experienced a moment of high adrenaline? Wallace retorted.
“I once rode a cheetah in a movie,” the actor replied.
“Did you have to pee then?” asked Wallace.
“Um, no,” Penn said.
“Exactly,” replied the 23XI Racing driver.
“So you’re really in the zone?” » asked the actor.
“Yeah. And they always say if you pee in the car, you have to be there Monday morning to clean it,” Wallace told him.
“Don’t you have anyone for that?” » asked Penn.
“They won’t,” the driver replied.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. had a different view than Wallace
Dale Earnhardt Jr. has always been known for being outspoken. He has been brutally honest about this secretive subject many times during his career.
“Well, you go to the bathroom,” he told Fox Sports. “Yeah, so if you can hold it, you hold it.” If you can’t hold it, leave. It’s not too common for this to happen because the car is very hot, you sweat a lot, and you basically lose all your water weight from sweating. So your bladder never fills up.
“If it’s hot and you get really nervous before the race and you drink too much water because you think you’re going to get dehydrated, you usually end up having to go to the bathroom before you even get the green flag. “
Junior also addressed the taboo subject once during a Twitter Q&A in 2014, when he was asked how many times a year he goes to the bathroom during a race.
“Once or twice A YEAR,” Earnhardt replied. “When you have to go, you go.”
And see you in store Monday morning.
