NBA: Another day of NBA action ended with plenty of highlights and talking points. The Milwaukee Bucks wiped the floor with the defending NBA champions, the Denver Nuggets, 112-95. Steph Curry came out and shot 7 three-pointers in the Golden State Warriors’ 129-107 victory over the Utah Jazz and Luka Doncic scored his 10th triple double of the season and his 68th. of his career as the Dallas Mavericks rallied in the fourth quarter to win 112-104 against the Washington Wizards.

In this heavyweight matchup at Milwaukee’s Fiserv Forum, Bucks center Giannis Antetokounmpo put on a show for the home crowd, scoring 36 points and putting on the board 18 times to hand Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets their 18th defeat of the season. This is only the Bucks’ third win under new head coach Doc River, but it will certainly instill a ton of confidence within the team.

The Golden State Warriors made quick work of the Utah Jazz as the superstar made seven three-pointers, putting up 25 points in the Warriors’ blowout. The win puts the Warriors back in the game and improves their record to over .500. The highlight of the night was Draymond Green’s insane buzzer-beating three-pointer from half-court. Klay Thompson had 26 points in Salt Lake City.

Luka Doncic scored his 10th triple double of the season and 68th triple double of his career, as the Dallas Mavericks won their fifth game on the bounce and improved their record to 31-23. After a slow start to the game, Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic each scored 26 points as the Mavericks rallied in the fourth quarter to secure the double at the American Airlines Center. For the Washington star, Jordan Poole experienced a horror outing as he only scored three points in his team’s defeat.
Timberwolves’ third quarter blows out Clippers

In this summit clash between two Western Conference heavyweights, the Minnesota Timberwolves blew out the Los Angeles Clippers after a mammoth 40-19 third-quarter victory.
Karl Anthony Towns scored 24 points, while Anthony Edwards had 23 in the win. The win means the Timberwolves will maintain their top seed in the West, 0.5 games ahead of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
76ers, Paul Reed denies Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers a 10th consecutive victory
Philadelphia 76ers 123 – 121 Cleveland Cavaliers
The Philadelphia 76ers edged the Cleveland Cavaliers in a nail-biting affair as 76ers Paul Reed blocked Cavs star Donovan Mitchell’s final layup attempt to deny them the victory. The match was a real back-and-forth in which the lead changed hands 12 times and there were 13 score ties. The 76ers lost star Joel Embiid to injury, improving their record to 32-21 and ending the Cavs’ nine-game winning streak.
In other NBA results, the Houston Rockets edged the New York Knicks 105 to 103. Meanwhile, rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama scored a historic 10-block triple double as the San Antonio Spurs beat the Toronto Raptors 122 to 99. The Indiana Pacers’ recent slide continued. as they lost 102-111 to the Charlotte Hornets. The Chicago Bulls beat the Atlanta Hawks by ten points in a 136–126 victory.
