The Chicago Street Race proved to be a headache for the 23XI Racing driver

However, the driver shot himself in the foot while involved in an accident, towards the end of the race, which ultimately led to an overtime of the race.

The incident occurred in turn 1, just 2 laps from the finish. While the driver found stability on the alien track, however on the penultimate lap the Toyota driver failed to judge the distance and entered Turn 1 too hot and crashed with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. 23XI Racing suffered heavy damage to his car and finished 31st.
